Water Taxi and Overnight Kayaking Tour Update 2025

Explore Alaska’s Wilderness: New Afternoon Departures for Our Overnight Kayak Adventures, and a new water taxi schedule for the first time in over 20 years!

At Miller’s Landing, we’ve made it easier than ever to experience the awe-inspiring beauty of Kenai Fjords National Park. Our Overnight Kayak Adventures to Northwestern Fjord and Aialik Bay as well as our Water Taxis to the same locations now meet at 12 PM and depart the beach at 2 PM*—a perfect schedule for visitors arriving in Seward by train, bus, or cruise ship, or for locals departing home the same morning they’d like to reach the park. Plus, we’ve updated our return time to ensure an earlier, more relaxed finish to your adventure.

For our bay taxis, we have an entirely new schedule departing on the hour vs the half hour, new kayak trip departure offerings, and a brand new 6PM-8PM time slot for bay taxis! Departures from Miller’s Landing at 6PM will allow our local guests and those on daily bay tours access to the state marine park beaches, park use cabins, and local area private lodgings, as well as those already on location wanting to return home between 6:20-8PM.
*If you have a large group or a need to depart earlier, we may have custom 6AM departure options available!
